I have noticed when using the GeForce GTX 470 graphics card with MSI afterburner (Version 1.6.0 Beta 6), under normal circumstances whenever MSI is running and a 3D application starts, the monitoring graphs show that the core clock speed is increased from 110Mhz to 670Mhz to cope with the higher demand, however, I use 3D screensavers made by 3Planesoft and have found that when I launch these screensavers manually, they operate fine, but whe the computer starts the screensaver itself after the usual 5 minute time delay, the screensavers run all jittery and when I look at the core clock speed monitoring graph, it shows that the speed is still 110Mhz and has not gone up to 670Mhz even though a 3D app is now running.Ĭould this perhaps be beacause MSI Afterburner is not detecting my Hi ppl, have a bit of a strange problem I can't quite get my head round.
